There are many busses travelling daily from/to Preveza, from Athens. During summer there are extra buses as well but for the rest of the year usually you can travel :
From Athens to Preveza at
07.30 / 12.00 / 13.30 / 17.00 / 20.00
From Preveza to Athens at
07.30 / 9.10 / 12.20 / 13.00 / 19.30
The approximate time of travel is 5h30min – 6h30min depending on the travel route and the traffic. For the time being the cost per person is 37,00 euro.

Please note that Aktion Airport in Preveza (PVK) is International and during summer season (May – October) there are many charter flights coming from/going to Scandinavian cities, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Holland, UK and Germany. For those of you coming from France, charter flights from/to Corfu (CFU) can possibly help you to get to us easier.
Currently there is no connection by air between Preveza and Athens. If you are flying to Athens though, in order to get to us, you can get the airport express bus line No=X93 to take you straight to the bus station (KTEL – Kifissos).
The X93 bus is running 24hrs.
From 06.05 to 24.50 every 40 min and from 24.50 to 05.15 every 60-90 min.
If you need to get from Kifissos-KTEL (Bus station) to the (ATH) airport then you take again the X93 bus from 05.00 to 20.00 every 40 min and from 20.00 to 04.15 every 60-90 min.
If you want to fly near to Preveza from Athens the (IOA) Ioannina Airport and the (CFU) Corfu Airport are the most suitable for you. Then from Ioannina you can get to Preveza with a bus or a taxi and from Corfu you can take the ferry to Igoumenitsa port and from there take a taxi to Preveza. Approximate cost 100-120 euro for 4 pax.

Taxi services are getting better and better. Although the cost has risen up a little as fuel and taxes have also, you might find that a taxi transfer is often a lot easier and less tiring. Taxi transfers from/to PVK Airport to Preveza currently cost 25,00 (for one taxi which can take up to 4 persons), from/to PVK Airport to Lefkas Island 45,00 (for one taxi which can take up to 4 persons). Lately there is being a new service offered from the taxi drivers we are collaborating with who offer to take you from/to Athens (ATH) Airport from/to Preveza only with 250,00 (for one taxi which can take up to 4 persons). If you are more than 4 persons kindly inform us so we can check prices for a minibus for you.
